Welcome to Faith Victory Association

Faith Victory Association (FVA) is a prominent non-governmental organization in Rwanda that focuses on empowering communities through various social and economic development projects. One of its key focus areas is promoting gender equality and women’s rights. FVA works on multiple initiatives aimed at addressing gender-based violence, advocating for women’s empowerment, and promoting gender equality within the communities they serve.

Gender promotion in FVA is integrated across various programs, including those targeting women’s empowerment, child protection, and community capacity building. For example, the organization runs the POWER Project (Promoting Opportunities for Women’s Empowerment and Rights), which empowers women through training, economic opportunities, and advocacy for their rights. Additionally, FVA provides platforms for women to engage in income-generating activities and saving groups, which helps them build financial independence and strengthen their roles in society.

FVA also works to raise awareness about gender-based violence, creating community-level interventions aimed at prevention and support for survivors. Its broader mission includes ensuring that women and children have access to their rights and opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency.
